Description

UPDATE: Redesigned the shells. It takes much less time to print and has less weight.

there's a 2mm steel tip version, U can put a diameter 2mm nail in it

It can maintain its direction and penetrated the box on a distance of 10 meters with fully printed tip

full penetration with steel tip↓

I haven't figured out how to fix the 2 parts together yet so it can only be held in hand and put into the barrel for single shots

attaching a piece of tape to the bottom might be useful

I'm not super familiar with nerf stuff...do you need to mod the blaster to be able to fit these in? Or if not, which dart types does this work for?

It's just 13mm diameter as a regular dart. I designed its length by around 36mm, it fits half dart as I have tried and U may scale the model a bit smaller if stuck in the barrle, no mods needed by the blaster if only for single shots

The only blaster I have is one where the dart sticks out of the end (cheap single-shot one), so it just kinda plops out of the end when I fire. I suspect I just need a blaster with more of a barrel, but I was wondering if I need to remove the dart post, since that blocks your dart from sitting as deep as it probably should inside. I'll try it if I can and see what happens. Thanks for the response! This is an awesome idea.

what happens when it is shot? would I shoot it with the casing on the projectile in the gun? are they the same size as a classic nerf dart?

ofc. the cases maintain the dart's direction and all gas leak through fins without cases.they seperate automatically when going out of the barrel

very cool idea, but, they don't work very well. I tried over and over to make these work, with no luck.

Very fun little things but it's more of a novelty & can't reliably be used.

An ok pront but not too great, I had issues with firing properly and i used additional paper on either sides to keep the dart in and to make it more air tight. These also diddnt fly too straight either but were ok.
