great work and very creative indeed. just one suggestion, please change the layer swap from 0.6 to 0.4 in the instructions if you can as it was missing out some details at 0.6. Thank you so much for the model, I have some childhood memories attached to hongbao.
printed in red/yellow and red/silk gold.
Perfect print! They came out great!
What slicer are you using ? The 0.6 is how Bambu studio shows correct detail. Their sliced view is a bit different.
This is what it looks like if I change to 0.4 in Bambu.
I think the 0.4 in your slicer is the same as 0.6 in Bambu. Would love to get a confirmation on this!
I’m using bambu studio however I haven’t updated the last 2 versions, maybe something has changed but I sliced it with 0.6 first and I could see some parts missing so I tried with 0.4 and it came out perfect. My understanding is that the first 2 layers of red are of paper and the rest for embossed yellow but I could be wrong.
Yep. That is correct. Its 2 layers Red and 2 layers Yellow.
The current Bambu studio version does that with change at "0.6". If you don't mind, could you start the print directly from the mobile app and see if the results are same. I'm very intrigued by this discrepancy.
Printed using Bambu Gold and Bambu Red PLA on an X1C. Love the design, you can tell a lot of thought went in to the model. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Extra thanks on the ironing settings, too. Waaaay faster than defaults, and it looks better to boot. :D
