Description

Add some mystery to your garden, house oder shack - just print this little door and put it to an old tree or a hard to see place.

I wonder, what is behind this door? Maybe a new project…?

Printing this little door might be some challenge. There are tiny objects and small details. I recommend printing the arch and the door in a standing position with a brim and support at 0.2mm layers. This provides the best quality and details. Slowing down the print speed and increasing the z-hop to 1mm will help.

For the hinges and the door knob 0.1mm layers are recommended. The door knocker is optional but very delicate to print. 0.1mm layer height and a brim is necessary, especially for the hinge. See my 3mf file for details.

The 3mf file contains two plates with AMS support - one for the door with knocker and one for the simple door without. Three colours are used, PETG is used for the support interface. And print sequence is “by object”.

For assembly simply glue all parts in position.

Notice for Bambu Handy users: my z-hop setting in the 3mf file is not supported by Bambu Handy. This will be resetted to 0.4mm.

The design is cute. I added a profile that lets it print as a single object, flat on the plate.

The idea is great, but i have never had so much issues to print a design like this one with the upright positioned parts.
