Took in some suggestions and updated my camera mount design. Added a new way to keep the camera in place by adding a round attachment point to the glass lid handle.

You have to push the glass up a tiny bit to slide this into place and just be sure it's in the hole before lowering it back down. It keeps the camera locked into the top I would suggest a small piece of double sided tape along the underside of the long arm just to keep it from moving from the vibration of the printer. I would have made it a tighter fit but I don't want it to break your glass.
