Description

Description

This is a set of hanger guides to hang Milwaukee M18 batteries. This allows the batteries to be mounted underneath a shelf (designed for a 2.5" deep shelf) and are expandable laterally. The batteries lock in with the same tabs used to secure the batteries in the tools. A spacer template is included to mount the batteries with the proper spacing.

Printing

Designed for 0.2mm layers and no supports. I printed with PLA, 2 walls, and 10% gyroid infill, but it should work with any other material (except flexibles such as TPU). Print 1 “L Hanger” and 1 “R Hanger”, and 1 “C Hanger” for each additional battery over 1 (ex. for 2 batteries, print 1 “C Hanger”).

Installation

A minimum of 4 screws are needed (US #7, or about 3.7mm diameter), and 2 more are needed for each “C Hanger”. Parts are designed for a 2.5" deep shelf. Use the spacer template to properly align parts when drilling into shelf, as shown in the last image. “L Hanger” should be the leftmost part, while “R Hanger” should be the rightmost part, with some number of “C Hanger” parts between them, depending on the desired number of batteries.
