What better to print in a Christmas and New Year holiday than a perpetual calendar, which could be a perfect present, or a centerpiece of your desk?
While designing this classic brick-style perpetual calendar, on top of the date, day of week and month bricks, I gave it a twist to make it more fun with a customizable feature! On the front bar, I added a small window where you can insert four number tiles from the top. Every year, you can simply swap the tiles to display upcoming year. Call it a little New Year ritual!
Thinking number tiles are too mundane for yourself or the special friend whom you wish to gift this calendar? You could always create your own card to slot it into the window! Any card with the dimension 64mm x 20mm x 2mm would do.
If you do create a customized card and wish share it with everyone, do let me know! I will post a link on this page so people could look around for a card they like. For now, you can enjoy my Star Wars “May the force be with you” card which I also posted a print file here as a sample.
Worried that your printed tiles will magically into the dimension of lost goods, or that a pile of number cards scattered in the drawer would trigger your OCD? Got you covered too! A sliding box has been created as an add-on in the page to house 20 number tiles (or 5 large cards)!
I am very new to 3D print designing so please tell me if you like the print, or if there is anything I could improve on.
Happy printing!
