Description

I purchased the Sunlu filament dryer box off Amazon, and needed an outlet in the back to feed my Bambu X1C. Good with or without the AMS. With the AMS, pair this with your choice of y splitters for the back of your printer for unrivaled ease of access! Never have to reach around the back of your printer again!

Designed with these quick connects in hand, but any with an M10 thread should work.

You’ll need 4x M2x10mm bolts plus nuts and washers and a length of PTFE tube (I used a section that came with my AMS).

Print bottom side down, PLA 0.2mm strength setting, no supports. After printing line it up on your box and drill 4 small holes (Run the bit backwards to avoid cracking the plastic of the dryer). Then mark where the tube comes out. I used a larger but running backwards to punch an initial hole, then slowly pivoted it down at an angle to open it up into an oval matching what’s on the bottom of the part.

Bonus print: A plug for the holes in the Sunlu dryer box. The box only comes with one easy to lose plug, but two holes that need plugging. Plug away!

I prefer this y splitter for the back, but you do you: https://www.printables.com/model/406756-wye-another-y-splitter

Imagine you have an idea, and someone had that same idea before you, and then not only did they come up with an elegant solution, but they posted online to share it with you for free just in case you had the same problem and same Idea... yeah. Something like that.
