Description

UPDATE 1/15/24 - An issue was found with the black section of the model. This caused fitment issues with the rear cover not fitting correctly. Some users found a work around by resizing the rear cover. I have uploaded new stl for the black and updated the .3mf file so this will no longer be an issue. Sorry for any incovience this may have causes.

Florida Gators lightbox with basic stand. A larger stand with “Gators” embossed on it can be found in the raw files.

I just printed this and the back doesn't fit. It is the exact size of the front of it. Love the print though.

The size should be the exact same size as the front. The raised area on the back cover should fit inside of the rest of the box. Fitment is sometimes tight if fuzzy skin was left on for the rear cover. I will check the print profile and see if I forgot to remove that for the rear cover.

I have checked the files and everything appears to be correct. I did note that this model does have some sharp corner area near the top of the box. These have been known to cause some fitment issues on other boxes as the tolerances are very tight. I would suggest taking some sandpapaer and rounding these areas on the iside of the box. When applying the rear cover you may find it easier to try and fit these areas first and then move onto the rest of the cover. If you are still unable to fit the rear cover, please let me know and I can try to smooth / round those around in the design to help it to fit easier

I ended up shrinking the back of it to 98.30% for the X and Y axis and that seemed to work. I agree with the sharp corner of the box being tight. Even with shrinking it, it still was tight getting the back on. Love the print though. Thanks for getting back to me.

Sorry for the incovience with the rear cover issue. I have revisited the model again and found an issue with the actual black file for the model. I will be updating the RAW file and the .3mf so there will be no need to resize the files.
