Stone guardian

Dwarven Runic Guardians The idea is that dwarven runic smiths possess ancestral knowledge of rune engraving, and in general the dwarven people are famous for their craftsmanship and affinity with stone. This led us to think that perfectly runic smiths might be able to engrave runes on statues of the dwarven gods to endow them with a simulacrum of life. A people in decline need all the help they can get, and sending stone constructs into battle seems like a very elegant solution for the dwarves... With this in mind, we created the Runic Guardians. These are stone golems animated by runes, and usually consecrated to one of the three dwarven gods. We have yet to shape this into a story, but the idea is there. So if anyone is encouraged to try this unit in their battles, let them comment on how they did with them.

Dwarf ROAN GUARDIANS.....................65 points per miniature

A Dwarf army that includes at least one Runic Blacksmith or Rune Lord may include units of Runic Guardians as Singular Unit options.

Unit type: Monstrous Infantry

Unit size: 3+

Options:

-Convert one to Grand Guardian.....+15 points.

-Commend them to the gods (only one option):

 -Grungni: Indesmoralizable ......+15 points per miniature


 -Grinmir: Hate (all enemies)........+6 points per miniature


 -Valaya: Magic resistance (3)......+10 points per miniature

Special rules: Hatred (greenskins), Stubbornness, Immune to psychology, Fear, Scaly skin (4+), Magic attacks

Extremely detailed, best suited for a sla/dlp resin printer, with a layer height of .05mm or less.
