Description

If you like this model and it's not too much trouble, please hit the 👍 button - it helps out a lot 😀

This is my take on how to handle a lot of tokens. There are two sets of numbers that can range from 0-99. One on top and one on bottom. The bottom number can represent the total amount of tokens you have. While the top number can represent how many are tapped, attacking, summoning sick, etc. You can print your own labels using custom artwork to create a truly unique, homemade mass token that expresses your style.

Download a label template PhotoShop file and see full step-by-step build instructions at Mass MTG Tokens.

If you'd rather have a dry erase version, I have a remixed MTG Dry Erase Mass MTG Tokens version as well.

There are 4 total profiles:

  • 2 for PLA
    • Use the cool plate or the high temp plate so the surfaces are flat - makes attaching the label much easier as glue should not be needed
  • 2 for PETG
    • Use the engineering plate or the high temp plate so the surfaces are flat - makes attaching the label much easier as glue should not be needed
  • Be sure to print both for whatever filament you plan on using.
    • The wheels are dual color (black and white) and print at 0.08mm layer height
    • The shells parts (top and bottom) are single color (black) and print at a 0.2mm layer height

@slang103 that looks great! It does look like you have the wheels in the wrong slots, though. Each wheel has a specific window it slots into so that the numbers are 100% straight within the window. Based on the photo, I think you would want to swap the 2 top and 2 bottoms ones. Just food for thought if you ever make another one in the future 😀

The dial stabilizers were too big for the dials, had to modify the dials hole in order to get it to fit. but works fine.

Hi @sandman89 I didn't see your comments. Apologies for the late response. The wheels are a VERY tight fit onto the shell so there isn't much wiggle room. They should 'snap' into place and then with some force, will sit fully flush to the inside of the shell. This makes it so the wheels have a bit of resistance when spinning and will stay in position to show the desired number.

The wholes of the dials were smaller than the outer plate had to modify it a little but it is pretty cool.
