Description

Rack for up to 8 X-P and A1 series build plates.
I needed a support for my build plates, but due to the limited space I had, I couldn't find anything that fit my needs. That's why I decided to design my own rack.

It is designed to be screwed into the side of a piece of furniture, making it easier to find a place to place it.
You have two versions, one to place it on the right side and another for the left (choose the one you need).
This rack is closed so that your plates do not get dusty while you are not using them.

It has 4 interior spaces wide enough to fit 2 plates in each one, so up to 8 plates can fit (I recommend putting a piece of paper or something similar between them so they don't get scratched).
I have tried to make the assemblies wide enough so that they fit well but without dancing, but I recommend that you have the tolerances of your printer well controlled.

The only extra screws you will need are two 4mm screws to be able to screw it to the furniture, since I have included in the design the four screws necessary to assemble the two parts. The printable screws have the function of a bolt, so it is not necessary to tighten them very much, just turn them until you notice that they have stopped.
Assembling it is very easy, you just have to screw the lower part of the rack to the furniture or surface where you are going to place it, once fixed, place the upper part and secure both parts with the printable screws (two in the front and two in the back of the rack, as shown in one of the images)

The profile is prepared to be robust enough to hold up without problems.
I have used 3 walls, 5 top layers, five bottom layers and 15% adaptive cubic fill to make printing as fast as possible without losing integrity.
If you modify the profile or print a profile of third parties that label it "fast" and similar adjectives, do so at your own risk.
I hope you find it useful.

Aber warum schauen die Platten so weit aus dem Rack heraus?
