A much requested addition to my patent art collection. Replace the frame with an backlit light box ;) While the thumbnail shows a nice rendition of a motorcycle, I have over 130 other patent drawings to pair with this.
The light box consists of the box (frame) itself, a back panel, and a light diffuser. The diffuser helps create a more even light while also securing the artwork in place.
Assembly is straightforward:
Note that the LEDs can be attached along the inner edge of the light box, to the back panel or left floating inside. I chose to use a 10mm strip of RGB LEDs cut to length and stuck to the inside of the light box. This was easy, but prevents easy disassembly. Attaching them to the back is more difficult depending on your light choice, but allows changing the art easily.
The hole in the back panel is 18mm in diameter to fit a USB plug. It is created using negative part that can be move, resized or removed as needed within Bambu Studio.
