Description

Here's a simple solution to mounting a Blink Mini camera on your Bambu Lab printer.

I couldn't find a good way to mount my Blink mini cameras on my printer so decided to take a minimalist approach to this problem. Print the box with the angle side down no supports needed and simply slide your camera into the holder and that's it. There's nothing to mount there's nothing to secure it simply sits on the top glass and you don't have to wire anything internally just choose the best spot on the top glass and you're done. This has a 15 degree angle that gives you a great bird's eye view of your printer's build plate.

Excellent but in the end I'm using the upgraded version that attaches to the top lid of the X1C, I forgot about reviewing this

Maybe an idea for improvement. Theres a very similar Camera Holder, that mounts to the Glass Plate Opener. Maybe you can adapt that idea.

You basically had the same idea for the blink camera. Maybe my version will help you to optimize your design. https://makerworld.com/models/33700#profileId-30699

the print works fine but I think it's not the best position for the camera

Thanks for the feedback. What position could use improvement? Is it the angle of the camera or something else?

yes I think the angle is not very good. the light lowers the video quality and the print head is in the way

If you don’t mind try my new model blink mini shorty. The angle is about the same but it sits closer to the top lid handle and locks into place. I left the latch loose on purpose because if it’s too tight it might cause stress on the glass and I don’t want it to break the top glass.
