Description

However, I found there were many components to print, so I made some changes. I added a handle to easily flip it upside down into the trash. I chose to reduce its height and assemble it; now everything can be printed on one bed. Last but not least, I created my own Poop Baffle.

Everything has been thoroughly tested and works flawlessly.

I printed it with a 0.4 nozzle and 0.20 mm layer height.

Enjoy!

So this doesn’t use the magnetic keeper system of the original? I like the magnet keeper design of the original and have the hardware bits on hand ready to use. Also what’s the “poop baffle” for? Is it a backboard-like deflector? Maybe add an explanation of it?

No, I removed the part with the magnets, and I've printed several without them without any issues. It stands exactly where you place it. However, if people request a remix with magnets, I can easily create that. It was mainly to simplify the printing process on a single bed 😊. It might be that I've given it the wrong name; I just saw the other one calling it a baffle 😂. Let me know if there's anything else. Thanks for the feedback!

I have the hardware ready to go, magnets and all, but do like the idea of your single piece bin.

Really nice work but the only negative thing I found was that the bottom screw was down too low, if you made the handle about an inch shorter than the screw placement would move up and it wouldn’t be such a PIA to get to the screw head. But a really good poop collector for the mini. I used the screws that held down my AMS unit from my P1S.

First, I want to say thank you for reaching out to me. I will look into that right away and fix it. But have you seen that I have made a new version where the handle sits on the print in one piece? https://makerworld.com/en/models/71879#profileId-76021

no I didn’t, I will check that out I’m still using this print no problem, just a bear to get the screw in on the bottom of the handle. But it has been catching all my poop from the A1👍👍

Printed with no issues I used the magnet version to avoid it being bumped around. I did have to use heat set inserts for the screws as M3 just fell through holes in handles.

Nice design and great results. I am glad this had the handle unattached as I chose not to add it for space issues.

Have you seen my design where the handle is attached to the side?

I did see that design but like the simplicity without the handle.
