Description

Updated: 1/7/24

Changed location and size/angle of the dovetails for strength and added an angle brace for the top right corner. Just insert the brace into the vertical piece first then slide it and the upper piece into their dovetails. I put a drop of super glue on all the dove tail joints and let dry before assembly onto A1 Mini. Also redid the rear z axis support and added a gantry clamp to hold it in place. It is intentionally a tight fit. Uses 4 m3-6 or larger screws to hold clamp.

Here is a 3 piece A1 mini ams lite top mount. It requires no hardware and is split with dovetail connections. The part replaces the top cover and inner white plastic spacer on the top of the z rod tower. I used 3 m3-8 screws to replace the original screws that hold the white spacer. I designed the top bar to fit the A1 Ams lite top mount by bambu labs AMS lite Top Mount for A1 by Bambu Lab - MakerWorld . I put a piece of foam tape on the bottom of the leg to help it grip. I recalibrated after installation and I see no difference in print quality. I recommend printing this out of PETG or harder material. The original full size model stl is included for anyone that wants to split it up differently or use different connectors. Now includes a Z-Axis stiffener bracket that was inspired by the same mount created by Bambu Labs. It attaches to the rear spool holder bracket and requires no hardware. It has a replacement bracket on it for the rear spool holder as well.

Hi there, i'm afraid that model u shared is breaking the license conditions of my design. It's basically the same design as mine. I will have to ask you to delete it or I will have to report you. Thank you for your understanding.

I seriously doubt you have a claim here. this is 100% modeled by me in fusion 360. You can't make a claim to a bracket mount, I copied bambu's mount so it would fit their A1 mount, so I guess go ahead and make your claim bud. I have all my files with all the step I took to make it, If they would like to see.

you can't redraw my design a little differently and call it your design buddy... read what states on my design page:

What are you 10? Is there any other way than over and down to make that type of mount? This is copied off of Bambus A1 support arm on the A1 printer. I guess they copied you as well when they made it? It is a support to fit their mount not your design. What part of yours fits mine? Your whole claim is to a "7" shape. You act like this takes more than 5 minutes to make in fusion. Get real. I think you need therapy man. I had a need and filled it.

Works great. Saves so much room. I printed everything out in PETG. The latch for the AMS top mount wouldn't close for some reason however. Maybe because I used PETG and Bambu's official slicer files called for PLA? I don't know. I just put a couple zip ties around the base so the latch couldn't open and it hasn't been a problem with printing the last few days. Everything fit together nicely and the mini prints great with the AMS on top. I was initially reluctant to get the A1 Mini and was debating getting the full size A1 to replace my Prusa Mini, since you could top mount the AMS on it. But i really wanted the smaller size printer and not to mention the heatbed recall on the full size A1 was offputting. Your top mount model helped make up my mind and I don't regret grabbing the Mini. thanks

Glad it worked out for you, I have 2 minis myself that use this bracket without issue as well. Really helps save space. :)
