The awesome Photo & Video Studio

Who has never dreamed of being able to take magnificent photos or videos of their most beautiful printed models?

I am one of those and given that couldnt find what could tick all the boxes, so i developed my own photo & video studio. It is easily transportable, dismantable and able to accommodate with different decorative walls. For a complete working product, feel free to check my motorized rotating plate which gives you the opportunity to take astonishing professional looking shots. (see my other projects)

This magnificent photo & video studio kit measures 40cm x 40cm x40cm once assembled, but it can be easily dismantled to be stored in a box, once disassembled, most of my Photo & Video Studio parts can be stored in an small box (most of the parts mesure 20cm x 20cm)

For this yet easy, but also complicated project, many prototypes and failed prints help me to accomplish my goal, which was to build a Photo & Video Studio that is made for everyone and simple to use. After many attempts and fails, i finaly found an easy to print and good looking model.

So, here is a list of features of my Photo & Video Box:

• 40cm x 40cm x 40cm - large enough for most of your printed models
• easy to print
• easy to assemble
• easy to disassemble
• easy to change the decorative walls
• easy to store when not used
• my Motorized Rotating Photo & Video Plate - with Bambulab motor is compatible with this Photo & Video Studio
• my Motorized Rotating Photo & Video Plate - reversible with speed control is also compatible
• most of the parts are marked Left, Right, Back, with arrows for a easy install
• a LED lighting is also in finalization
• more decorative walls are being finalized, with other forms and types, i'm working on 12 new walls, so stay tuned :)
  

Please, try to follow this recommendations:

• use only my files and profiles, labelled as Designer. I don't make any support for other people's uploads
  Profile with Non-Designer tags may be of poor functionality or non updated model
• use my plates settings and placement (rotation), i try my best to optimize the parts placement, so that everyone can print it easily
• the walls and infill settings were tested to reduce the filament consumption while maintaining a good strenght over time
• try to use the AMS auto-refill option, some plates require more than 1kg of filament, with the auto-refill, your printer will jump to the next available spool (AMS 1&2 - 3&4 can do auto-refill) But, use identical spools and filament…
• i tested EVERY part with Bambulab PLA Basic or Silk for the decorative walls. Watch out, the Silk filament has a certain transparency, the black color of the magnets can slightly stand out through the decorative walls. This is not dramatic, I'm just a little psycho-rigid :)
  You can use any other filament, but i can't guarantee that you will print it like it should. Any brand of PLA should be ok, as long as your filament is made for high speed (successfully tested Sunlu, Esun and Bambulab Basic PLA) Do i have to remember you that moisture in your filament might make your print fail….
• use WHITE PLA ... It could sound weird, but i printed some parts with an other color, it looks... not pretty...
  If you want to use colored decorative walls, i'ts up to you, every scene has its own proprieties.

What's required to print the Photo & Video Studio Box :

• +- 2kg of white PLA (prefer the Bambulab Basic PLA, or a high speed PLA or PLA+
• +- 3m of Magnetic tape 15mm wide, like this one : Amazon.de or on Amazon.com
  If you have sticking problems with the tape and wall, try to scrape softly with a fine sandpaper where the magnet should stick on the wall

The LED lighting kit is being finalized, i only have to double check every part, so that everything matches the whole Photo and Video Studio kit.
It's also designed to be easy to print and easy to mount on this design. It also uses Magnetic Tape, so if you want this LED kit, think about buying more of this tape (5m should be enough)
