Description

Model - Free wheel:

Print in place, easy and quick to print. A cool free wheel fidget to enjoy. Works only in one direction! Try it out!

This model is intended for single color printing, but feel free to modify and create a multi-color print. And please share pictures of your prints!

Recommendation:

The free wheel bearing must run in first before it runs smoothly. Or you can put same “super lube” (see on the pictures) in the free wheel.
BUT be careful, use very little grease! Otherwise it will lose its function.

Enjoy and have fun!

Happy printing!

could i ask that you beefed up the edges of the bearings? I had them break off using a silk multi PLA when removing from the bed. i used superglue to fix them. i am currently printing a few more in the PETG-CF from Bambu for an aircraft maintenance classroom. I am friends with the guy that makes all the hands on labs and we both thought it would be awesome to use as a hands on example of what allows the helicopters i fly to perform an auto rotation. overall...super cool print!

Hello Munchers2010. I'm not sure I understood your point correctly. You are asking about a design change to create a stiffer bearing. This requires major changes. This device was only designed as a mechanical toy. Maybe it's possible for you to print this part with more walls?
