Purge Bucket came out great looking. Amazing Design, truly is especially when paired with the right colours. I do recommend putting some double sided tape on the bottom or raise the actual bucket up a bit, otherwise it's great!

Beautiful finish / pattern. Wondering if it was done in Blender? UV mapping?

Thanks! It would have been easier with Blender but I still didn't have time to learn it. I used displacement maps but on Solidworks. I don't advise you to do it that way because 3d textures with SW are very slow. I would like to model my future designs with Fusion360 and then import to Blender to add textures using uv maps/ displacement maps

Thank you for the reply. I'm in a similar boat - that's why I was so curious about it. I'm only using Fusion so far, but when I try more complicated textures like ropes or so it gets also very slow and likes to crash. I was wondering if people take such models over to a sculpting app and use alpha brushes on the outside or if UV Mapping is the way to go / learn. I guess the latter makes much more sense then. 👍

I am trying to do exactly what you are describing using Nomad sculpt. I just need more time to learn more to achieve that precisely. I am used to functional CAD and i got lost when imported my model to Nomad Sculpt.

Such a beautiful design. So much better than just a flat sided box.

Really nice design. I didn’t just want a big blank box so this is perfect. I used pretty cheap filament so it did not come out looking its best, but if you print it with normal filament I am sure it would look much better. it is also quite sturdy, as I have already dropped it once accidentally and it did not break!

overall printed really good except for a small hole in the bottom. Nothing to much to worry about.
