Description
YOUSU is changing the spools from plastic to cardboard! They have designed this YOUSU cardboard spool adapter which is compatible with the Bambu AMS! This is the first and only OFFICIAL spool adapter, designed by YOUSU and for YOUSU cardboard spools.
Print this simple model FAST and keep those spools rolling! Print 2 adapters, 1 for each side of spool. Each side prints in just 53 minutes to get you back on the road!
I recommend using PETG for PLA spools. That way, if you put it in a dryer, you don't warp the adapter from the heat. Always print your adapters with a more heat resistant material than what is on your spool for this reason.

Kinda works but the AMS is so sensitive, during a 9 hour print my print stopped 3 times due to AMS motor overrun (basically the spool gets stuck in the AMS and wont rotate, this is with the lid open)
I also find the Yousu spools are spooled very tight so the AMS struggles to pull it!
I tried is slot 1 and slot 3, same issues
