Description

Hello Bambulab owners and 3D printing community!

I have here a remix to Benlevi's X1C Riser with LED but without the AMS riser part and drawers. I personally and also those who have done a bit of physics know that the AMS does not belong on the printer. That's why I changed Benlevi's design so that there is only extra lighting and a slight increase in the print space.
Only the frame was changed, so you can download the remaining original parts directly from Benlevi (https://makerworld.com/en/models/19535#profileId-19420)
The following STL's are still required:
Gasket - Left
Gasket - Right
Gasket - Rear Left
Gasket - Rear Right
Left Button
Right Button
X1C Buttons Frame

I have created a printing profile, but have not tested it, as I do not own an X1C, just the P1S.
Many thanks to Benlevi and Happy Printing

Gasket - Left
Gasket - Right
Gasket - Rear Left
Gasket - Rear Right
Left Button
Right Button
X1C Buttons Frame

Einen Druckprofil habe ich erstellt, aber nicht getestet, da ich selbst kein X1C Besitze, sondern einen P1S.
Vielen Dank an Benlevi und Happy Printing

Printed with your profile last night and had a few issues, the main being fitment. Your temps seemed pretty cool for ABS... will hold off on rating to give you a chance to fix.

Hello. Thank you very much for your feedback. The problem is due to the different nozzles on our printers. I have a P1S with a stainless steel nozzle. You have an X1C which is originally equipped with a hardened steel nozzle. I had to lower the standard temperature setting on my printer by 5 degrees, otherwise the parts didn't look very nice. If you use an original Bambulab ABS filament and not my modified filament profile, then this should not be a problem. I customized my ABS profile specifically for my printer. This relates to temperature, flow, cooling and K value. Did you use an original ABS filament from Bambulab for printing? Did you change the filament in the slicer? Please answer my questions if you can, as I can then check various settings again and avoid these problems in the future. I will still post an additional profile with original Bambulab ABS settings.

I used Bambu Silver ABS Filament, took out of package and put in printer at 90* for 6 hours then in filament dryer at 70* for ~36 hours. I went with your settings to the T as far as filament profile (since it was bambu lab filament) and slicer settings.

Hello MikeD4bz. As mentioned before, I have adapted the original Bambulab filament in my slicer to my printer, so it would have been necessary for you to activate your filament manually in the filament tab in the slicer. This would then overwrite all my manual settings with the original filament settings. If this still doesn't help, I recommend a manual flow and K-value calibration. The original Bambulab filament profiles are not always correct e.g. the Bambulab ABS has a K-value of 0.015 as standard but after a manual calibration I found that the value is only 0.010

Filament settings need to be adjusted as the included ones are too cool for printing ABS on an X1C resulting in poor finish. You'll need to add additional supports along the sides as they aren't in the file. Sides are too short, glass lid won't fit in to recess once they are glued together, needs to be about 3mm longer on both sides. Also, there is no seal (or support) under the front edge of the glass, however this is the same on the original version of the design that this artist remixed.

Just an FYI so no one else gets as confused as I did, the "raw files" is missing the Front half Left and Right parts. Had to download the 3mf to get everything. Will give it a try :)
