I have drawn a spool holder that is not dependent on the quality of the spool edges.

Spool holder for max: Ø350 mm, w110 mm. (2.5Kg Spools)
The spool holder has a brake on the axle.
The quick lock makes it easy to change the spool.

The axle has centering adapters to fit different spool hole diameters on it.

It is easy to print and needs no support except for the top_cover_quick_lock.

I printed in PETG, 0.4 Nozzel, 0.2 layer height, 3 perimeters, 25% infill,
and the brake screw with the same settings except i adjusted the layer height to 0.12

Required:

17 x threaded inserts - M3 x 5,7

16 x M3 hexagon socket screw 6mm
1 x M3 hexagon socket screw 16mm

I put a self-adhesive felt pad on the end of the brake-screw, so that the screw and the axle do not wear out so quickly. But it works also without.
