This is a slightly more complex version of my Hex Puzzle box - This one has the same trick of using centrifugal force, but it also employs the need to use a tool to push the center out of the shell.
To open, remove the small tool that is slotted into the wall of the box, then turn the puzzle upside down. Spin the puzzle on the table so all 6 pins move outward, allowing you to push the center out using the tool. The inside is held in place by a magnet.
You will need two 6x1.5mm magnets for this puzzle box. They should “press fit” but I recommend a small dab of super glue as well.
I got my magnets from here, but any this size will work: https://www.ebay.com/itm/291618202305
some light sanding may be needed on the small tool to make sure it moves smoothly and doesnt get stuck. You want to get it where it stays in place but is easily removed with some pressure.
