Description

This Snap-On lightbox that was requested via my request form. I enjoy making these, so I try to get to as many requests as possible. I do them in my free time and post the majority of them here for free. As with most of my lightboxes, the rear cover has a cutout for wiring lights. It also has a sawtooth hanger cutout in the event you wish to hang it on the wall.

front plate is way too thin. leds can be seen thru it

@Shaggys3D All of my lightboxes are designed with .6mm thick front face. This is a pretty standard thickness that a lot of modeler use. When wiring the LEDs I suggest you attach them to the rear cover. This adds distance between the front face and the LEDs which helps to spread the light out. Adding lights around the frame of the box results in more visable "hotspots" from the lights even if the face was thicker.

Thanks for the heads up but that one looks a little different than mine. Brand logos are replicated quite a bit so its hard to really tell who did what design.
