Description

This basket is intended to be used as decor, but it absolutely could be used as a functional basket!

A few potential uses:

  • Fill with artificial flowers
  • Use as part of a dining room table centerpiece
  • Wedding decor - table centerpieces, gift table decor, flower girl basket, etc.
  • Fill with Easter eggs - easily fits 6 plastic eggs
  • Use as a catch-all container - hold your keys, wallet etc.
  • Fill with candy/treats for a small gift basket

This is part of my Woven Series. You can view all of my Woven Series models in this collection. This basket is the first model in the series to have a handle.

Print Settings

For best results, print using a 0.2mm layer height. If you would like a smoother finish on the very top, you may want to change the layer height to 0.1mm when you get to the last few layers.

Assembly

In addition to the 2 printed pieces, you will also need 2 M3x12 bolts and 2 M3 locknuts. I prefer the look of button head bolts for this application, but any type will work.

Insert the nuts into the appropriate holes. One of these holes is shown below:

Insert the bolts through the holes in the handle. Push them through the holes in the basket and thread into the nuts. My suggestion is to tighten the bolts just until the handle can stay upright on its own.

The filament used in the pictures above is polymaker PolyTerra Army Beige PLA

Not the right ones. ha. I just used something I had laying around, it was not snug but I used nylon nuts to keep it from coming off.
