This model required 23 plates to and 11 colours print and over 60 hrs printing time.
A half size, simpler Single Colour 1:1000 scale version that fits on one X1/P1 plate and prints without supports is now available - and it is recommended that people look at that first before attempting this model.

Also, before printing this 23 plate version it is recommended you look at the smaller single A1mini plate size 4 colour version of Ventura's sister ship Azura here

Scale Model of P&O Cruises Ventura - for personal use only.
Designed for multi colour printing on a Bambu Lab X1C or P1P with 8 Colours (2 x AMS).
Designed using Fusion 360 - see video for details
Further background details about the design and printing history are available at this forum thread.

With some compromises on colours could probably print with one 4 colour AMS.
Model is appx 250% the size of the build place - so each deck is split into sections that need to be printed separately.
The model consists of over 400 STL files - so has been published as Bambu Studio plate level 3mf files.
The model is designed for each deck to be printed separately in order to minimise support requirements.
Deck sections are then joined together using dovetail joints and then each deck is bolted together using M4 Cap Head Bolts.
Printing the model requires 21 separate 30min to 9.5 hour prints - so a total of approximately 50 hrs on a BLX1C which in my case was spread over 2 weeks.
NB/ A smaller 1:1000 version of this ship is available which prints as one - so it is recommended that one is tried first before attempting this print.
For the lower decks and Hull I designed it some small tabs that need to be shaved off to square off the external corners and hide the joins as much as possible.
Also in this version of the model the radar tower on deck 18 at the front of the ships needs to be printed in separate sections and superglued together to avoid messy supports.
A similar model of Ventura's sister ship Azura is available too which I will publish once I have received feedback on the method of publishing this ship.
This is a personal project. I have no connection to P&O Cruises or Carnival Corporation other than being a customer.
This version is released under a CC Non Commercial No Derivatives license due the P&O Cruises branding.
For reference here are the filament colours I have been using in order of quantity - with a best guess at Bambu Lab equivalents
eSUN PLA+ Filament 1.75mm, PLA Plus 3D Printer Filament Cold White
eSUN PLA+ Silver
SunLU PLA+ Blue
SunLU PLA Red
1kg 1.75mm PLA 3D printer filament Printer - With coil (Gold Color)
SUNLU 3D Printer Filament PLA+ Plus Grass Green
Aldi Balco Blue 1kg
SunLU PLA Yellow
Bambu Lab Orange
ICE Filaments ICEFIL1PLA104 PLA filament, 1.75mm, 0.75 kg, Barbaric Brown
eSUN PLA BLACK
With the quantity of white being about 10x the rest.
My best guess at equivalent Bambu Lab Filaments to these would be:
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Jade White
Bambu Lab PLA Silk Silver
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Blue
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Red
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Bronze
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Green
Bambu Lab PLA Matt Ice Blue
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Yellow
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Orange
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Brown
Bambu Lab PLA Basic Black
