Description

Update - 20/11/20
Some people have had issues with the digger arm not keeping position. On one of my test prints, I also had this issue.
I can suggest using the technique on the below Youtube video to strengthen the digger arm. Happy printing. :-)

Little Cities is a 3D Printable toy series where miniature buildings and vehicles are stored within a purpose designed case until ready for play. Once play begins simply unfold the case and attach the miniature buildings to the outside of the case to create a mini play set. Each case will be themed with mini vehicles to print as well. The cases can also interlock so you can expand your little cities playset as I develop and release new Little City themed cases.

This one is the Quarry!!!
Lift the barrier to let the Dump Truck in. let the Digger load up the Dump truck, and when the Dump truck is ready let it lift to release the load.
This little Citie was a little different for me, as I sculpted the terrain in Blender 3D. Although all STl files are undamaged and repaired where required, you will find with the terrain there are some hollow parts. Not to worry. Its the end result you want. And the end result for the terrain is fine. So happy printing. :-)

Note - This is not a MMU print. Simply print the parts in the appropriate colours and glue them together.

Please check out and follow my profile page to see what Little Cities have already been released.

As this is part of a series I will design other themed cities, the bonus being is the cases will interlock, thus creating a bigger play-set. The roads will run in sync too. At this point I have about 26 little cities planned.

Please note some of the parts may cause a choking hazard, so these 3D printed toys are not recommend for children under the age of 6.

Print instructions

This is not a MMU print. Simply print the parts and assemble them together.

Please refer to the images for assembly instructions.

The case I printed at 0.2mm layer height and 0.15mm for all other parts.
Refer to the file names to see if colour changes (CC) are required and for what layer heights to apply the colour changes.

The vehicle wheels print in one. Be patient and gentle to loosen them so they can turn. Also use a little glue to attach the dumb truck together while ensuring the wheels still turn.

Any questions or queries just send me a message and I will get back to you when I can.
