Description

I found this really awesome fully printed monster truck toy on Printables. It has an integrated suspension sort of thing that works surprisingly well, and I can speak from experience that it's the most robust toddler toy I've ever made. They have survived a lot of abuse and kept on rolling.

I had a hard time getting the body to print. It took several tries. Maybe it was my PETG or a dirty bed? I ended up needing a brim... or skirt... whichever one connects to the model.

Print looks good though, thanks for the rating. I did print the original with PLA and didn't have any issues, so maybe it was the bed not being clean. I'll keep an eye out and if others have issues too, I'll add a brim to that part of it. you are talking about the part with the cab and bucket, right? not the chassis?

yes. the cab. could have been my bed for sure… I had to give the axles a couple of goes as well so maybe your right. my kids love it though. I did just clean my bed today so I’ll have to print another to see if it does any better.

I scaled everything by 200% (well, the suspension and wheel covers by 198% since they are otherwise too tight) and printed them out on my P1P. It looks awesome. My kid loves it. Thanks for making the model!

Nice print, however it seemed impossible to fit the chassis into the body. I had to get creative with sandpaper and an xacto knife.

Great build and it works great! Also great that you can print per object so that you can have different colors without wasting more filament than needed. My only issue was getting the base connected to the chassis. It's a very tight fit and it took me a long time to get it in, but once it did I don't think it's ever getting loose :)

Very very nice little monster truck! I printed this out just with the bambu app. First try rocks! Only thing: The wheel caps are not fitting in.

they did take a lot of force when I put them on as well. I may go edit the profile to reduce the size of those slightly and make it easier. thanks for letting me know 🙂

it took a lot of force to assemble, and almost broke in the process, other than that it was a nice truck, and my son was happy
