Nice model!
I don't have gaged ears but my wife wants hers gaged, that being said forgive if this is a dumb question but how does it stay on without a back piece?

They are a little wider at the back than the middle, so you stretch your ear a tiny bit over the back part and the middle part of the gauge has the diameter of the stretch you're going for. The person I made these for was very happy and wears them a lot.
