I printed this one, because I absolutely love the aesthetics. The parts click together easily, probably a little bit too easy? I had some trouble figuring out how exactly to use the roller, it seems you fold the cable in half and insert the loop in the bottom part, on one side of the center axle. Insert the top part with its axle in the loop, and twist around. The see-trough design comes in really handy here for lining these bits up. The cable doesn't have to be disconnected for this design to work, you just need a fold in the cable somewhere. However, rolling up isn't ideal because it seems the off-center axle from the top should start close to the center to allow the cable to roll onto itself a few times. By having it close to the outside perimeter, after a few twists my cable quickly gets stuck. I've tried with a 3 m  lightning - USB A cable, but it doesn't even quite spool 1 meter of it. It might be useful, I found an alternative that works well for me here: https://www.printables.com/model/629654-advanced-stackable-print-in-place-usb-cable-winder/comments, as for me it's no issue to disconnect the cable and feed it through and leave it in place after connecting my appliance (it's for a speaker that extends to the garden if the weather allows).
