This is a cool desktop gadget that will help you de-stress, clear your mind, and is just fun to watch!
You will need the yellow USB motor that comes with any of the Bambu Labs hardware kits (003, 005, 007).
There are two gear ratios provided for slower or faster rotation as desired.
Unfortunately the motor isn't silent so its not something you would leave running all the time. On my list for version 2 is to find a similar size motor with a silent gearbox.
Printing Turntable:
For best results, print the turntable parts and the topper(s) from the print profiles.
required Parts:
If you use the .stls included, you will have to split the main turntable parts into objects.
Printing Toppers:
Print whichever topper you wish (or both). You can also mirror the parts if you wish.
I have changed some default support settings in the print profiles to make the supports more reliably easy to remove - these work well for me, hopefully they do for you aswell.
There are two .3mf files for each of the included toppers. The slow file has all walls and overhangs at the same speed so you will not see any lines from the speed changes, but this slows things down quite a bit. I don't recommend upping the overhang speed much as the (buildplate-only) supports are not able to reach all areas.
The normal speed file will have lines where the speed changes.
