Description

Stacking trays for warhammer miniatures.

One tray is 3x5 for miniatures with a 32mm base.

One tray is 4x5 for miniatures with a 28mm base.

One tray is 4x5 with 25mm base.

And a roof to put on top of the stack.

The first exactly fits 3 squads of infernus marines in particular (as seen in intro/starter/leviathan sets). Should fit other marines with 32mm bases.

The second tray fits a squad of termagaunts and their 28mm base.

These trays stack with each other or themselves.

The bambu 3mf file is inclued and contains some modifier blocks to make the corners more solid where the posts are connected.

I'm currently using them without the modifier blocks, printing straight from the stl. I broke one off trying to remove the print from the plate, but in normal use they are working fairly well.

Feedback and requests welcome.

I’m a big fan of this design, I’ve printed 7 or 8 of these now for storage of my minis. but can I ask for an update? 1x design to be 10mm taller on the 40mm trays that way I have a caption and lieutenant that will also fit on, and 2x a tray with a 50mm option that was 70mm tall, that way my captain from leviathan can also fit.

Sure thing. I'll get this into fusion tonight :) 40mm => 10mm taller 50mm => 70mm tall I think I'll also be working on a more compact version for all the termagaunts

So I printed this an my 32mm bases dont fit, make it feel like its like .1/.2mm too small. Is this a setting I have wrong or any idea why this owuld be? I see other people had no issues with it so its something on my end just dont know what

This could depend on your filament itself or possibly filament settings, or possibly bambu studio's settings. If you have a filament that is just extra thick, it can close up a hole just a little bit. There is also a setting in studio called "X-Y hole compensation", or "X-Y contour compensation". These can grow/shrink holes a bit. Last resort, you could "Scale" the whole model just a tiny bit in the x, and y directions, just a tiny bit.

Good to know. May I ask what plate you were using? I'm on the textured plate and I may take that for granted at times.

I tried my hand at designing something similar last week, but last night I stumbled upon this and printed it; the ones I designed are now junk, printing enough of these for my whole swarm now. Thanks!
