Description

At work a new electrician brought in their wiring cart and it had a handy organizer and cable guide to hold the tails of the cables as they come off the spool. That way cables don't unroll or fall back. All the other electrical techs were jealous. The electrician didn't remember where it had come from because it had been so long. And though they tried none of the electricians Google-Fu came up with the magic search term to find them.

So I made a modular system they can use. The flaps are replaceable for wear or different tongue thickness or gap required depending on what is being fed/guided. And you can keep ganging them up for as many channels needed for the application.

I printed the housings in PLA, and the replaceable tongues in PETG. The tongues pressed in with just the right force to stay while still being removeable. Also depending on what you are trying to hold you may have to modify the tongue thicknesses, or change materials for different stiffness or ductility.

I have included a base STL design, two different STL Mounting Plates, And some STEP files. Also linked below is the Onshape design. Modify it to suit your needs. Hope you can find it useful. Let me know if you make any changes of find any ways to improve it.

Super glad to hear it's useful for other people. I know it's kind of a specialty print, but for the people it's useful for I think it'll be helpful.
