Quite proud of this one. I used Hueforge to create it, but made is so that it's truly 3D: the horns and dragon head actually emerge from the 2D surface. Also, the interplay between non-metallic yellow and the white overlay makes the piece look metallic - even though I haven't used a metallic color.
I made the entire piece quite thick - about the thickness of an actual metal coin, so it feels like it has presence - like a real medallion. I also defined a yellow color on the other side of the medallion, so that it looks metallic because of Bambu's textured printing plate's surface.
I tried printing it at scales between 10 CM diameter and 15 CM diameter, and it turned out great. At 5 CM diameter you lose some of the finer details, but it still turns out roughly ok.
Color palette is quite forgiving. Black and white are a must, obviously, but the other colors can be changed as long as you switch the brown with a ‘dark’ color, and the yellow with a ‘bright’ color.
