Hello, I only need to take 3 pills per day. The 1:1 printing box according to the model is too large, so I reduced it by 50%. The size is good, but the sliding is too tight. May I ask how scaling can maintain its smoothness. I hope to receive your reply, thank you very much!

I have not attempted to scale anything up or down, so we will figure this out together! I would suggest scaling everything uniformly down to 50%, then slightly scale the the lid down again on the Y axis. Try maybe 0.1% so the Y scaling is at 49.90%? This would make the lid an extra 0.12mm slimmer, so it might be noticeable when closed on the box, but this should help with opening the tolerances back up. I can try this later today and report back if you don't want to waste filament testing.

Thank you very much for your reply. This reduced version of the medicine box is my personal requirement and should be adjusted by me. But my personal skills are limited. Even if I can shrink the medicine box to 49.9% as you said, I probably won't be able to adjust the size of the magnet accurately. If it's convenient for you, please help me adjust it. After reducing the size, you can put the magnet in, which will make it much more stable to use. Thank you again for your work and sharing. thanks

I'm back at work for the next several days, so won't be able to do any modeling during that time, but what I'll do is try to work something out specific for your needs at the end of this week. It may take me a little bit, but I'll reach out via message when I'm done to get you the files :)

I’m trying them out for the first time, but it’s Printbed’s February premium sub spool: Galaxy Black! I usually don’t intentionally pick up bigger glitter filaments(and this one was a mystery until I paid for the subscription), I enjoy shimmery ones more like the Polymaker Starlight series, but this one is surprisingly enjoyable! This was the first print with it too, no problems which is great!

Glad it worked out well, it does look good. I've been meaning to find myself a good black, shimmer filament.

Printed very nice. Only had some smaller magnets at hand and wouldn't recommend them, or use more than one pair.

I wanted a two part day with no design on the lid. Only had one option with the AM/PM separator. I ended up printing this 70% scale and adding some custom text to the lid. Turned out pretty nice for me, overall happy with it. It did take some effort to get the slides so that they were moving smoothly.

Just to confirm, you are looking for a Morning / Evening box with a Blank Lid? I thought I had that as an option, but that's my mistake. I will be overhauling the profiles for this upload this coming week and will make sure to have all lid designs available for all box styles.

Thank you for your kind words, it's my pleasure. And I have uploaded all parts as STLs under Raw Model Files if you'd like to download the Morning / Evening Box and any lid to pair with it!

Thank you for the kind words. You are right, I need to expand the designs to the Morning / Evening version as well. I'm working on an overhaul of this upload and will make sure to include those when I'm ready to make those changes.

All designs have been converted for the Morning / Evening box :) You can't download them as individual STLs or all in one with the print profile!

I've been printing for several years now, with different 3D printers, and of course I realize that not all printers are calibrated accurately. One part will be larger or smaller on one printer than on another. But if you make the dimensions of moving parts completely without clearance, this can only lead to problems. And I have measured that the dimensions are without play in slicer. When my wife pushed the lid in for the first time, it clicked and it was broken. I can't understand why it's designed like that and why it hasn't been criticized yet.

EDIT: See comment below. All print profiles corrected. I will absolutely verify this when I get home this evening. There should definitely be tolerances built in to that section of the model. I have not experienced your issue with about half a dozen prints with different filaments, so it's possible I missed it in the design and overlooked this with my prints. Thank you for bringing it up!

I indeed did miss adding tolerance on this part of the model. I added an offset to the slanted edge, but forgot to carry that over the straight edge somehow O__o This has been corrected and all lids have been updated with this change and re-uploaded. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention. I have only been doing this for a very short period of time, so these moments are exactly why I love sharing with the community and looking for chances to grow and get better.
