3D model description

This is 1:14 cement silo. Model is modular, based on 150 mm segments. So you can adjust height to your need - just add next segment and print more elements such as: rungs, ladder hoops, etc.

Silo Diameter is 200 mm to fit 220x220 printers bed. Silo hoop diameter is 204 mm.

On printscreens is version with 3 x 150 mm segments. For this i have used:
- 7 ladder hoops,
- 2 x top ladder hoops.
- 2 x lower ladder hoops,
- 13 x rungs,

You need 4 square profiles 10x10x1 for legs. In my version length is 320 mm.

You need 10x1 tube for unloading pipe. In my version it was 430 mm length.

You need 2 mm rod for ladder and silo top handrail.

In my version it was 14 x 80 mm steel rod with 2mm diameter to top handrail, and 2x 840 mm steel rod with 2 mm diameter for ladder. I haven't use third rod for ladder because with 2 rods ladder was stiff enough. Anyway - ladder hoops are designed with 3rd hole.

Every chink between segments need to be covered with silo hoop. I habe glued it with CA.

3D printing settings

I have used PETG with default settings and speed with 20 % infill.

If you want to use silo outdoor - please print whith PETG not PLA because PLA will dissolve in hard sun.
