Many magical creatures, constructs and elementals are fueled by energy sources that differ from traditional food. Where most will draw energy from the food they eat, many can, and do, survive by drawing on the magical essence of sordalite alone. Some in Sordane have even been known to draw energy directly from the core of the planet itself which gives those unique creatures an endless supply. Some of these creatures are the stonemane lions of the plains of Sordane. Creatures that sustain themselves in this way, will see physical changes to their bodies as they adapt to make use of the magical power.
