Description

Skadis triangle trim - compatible with Ikea Skadis pegboard, two variations of peg holes.

Triangles are apx 158 mm x 158 mm, so should individually fit on A1 Mini as well.

One Set of the triangles has the standard oval fillet on the surface, the other has a chamfered edge around the holes. Just something different I wanted to try. Honestly, I'm not a fan of the chamfers…

Pegs:

Included are long and short mounting pegs. Long pegs may be used to offset the printed panel from your Skadis, allowing other attachments to still be used. Short pegs hold the printed panel closer to the Skadis, and may not allow other items to be hung from the panel.

Due to the variability in Skadis holes, and 3d printing in general, you may wish to print a few extra pegs. Sometimes one (side) will be too tight for either the Skadis or the printed panel. I use pliers to push in and remove the pegs when needed. Using the PEI Hot Plate, and no glue, pegs stick fine to the plate. But you will need a brim and supports on the pegs if using a cold or textured plate. And they print more reliably if if you use those anyway, so the print profile includes both enabled. I usually print the pegs separately, at 50% speed, as there are still fails now and again.

Note -

Printing the chamfered face down, on the plate, leaves the corners to overhang, which will warp ‘up’ and deform while printing. (Shown in last pic above).
