Description

I needed a way to pocket my pills for the day, and this seemed like the best solution I could come up with. I have it over on my Thingiverse account as “7 Day Viagra Organizer”.

Post processing: The only part that will take some cleanup are the lids. I highly recommend using PETG filament as support material if you're printing the lids in PLA. It'll make removing the support material much easier. Use a contrasting color so you're sure you remove all the support material.

I printed a single “day” to use as a travel pill box with day and night sides, the only pill case I found that could do that. The hinges are nice and loose and the snap closing is tight enough to stay closed in a purse. I’m not sure how the springs work but I won’t need them.

the springs just hold the lids in the standing up position when refilling.

The lids would not lock, springs did not do enough. Printed per profile on X1C.

The spring is to hold the two lids vertical while filling the pillboxes. If the lid doesn't snap shut, you may resolve this by adjusting the length of the lid. Make sure you uncheck "uniform scale", then change the (probably green) Y dimension. If the lid is loose, increase Y by 100.5% If the lid is too tight and isn't snapping shut, decrease length of y by 99.5% then do a test print. I've found this can be both printer and filament dependent, so may need fine tuning for your printer.
