Pill Pod - A Print In Place Weekly Organizer

Features:

Loading:

Spin the outer ring so that the arrow points at the desired day of the week
Insert pills into the hole
Repeat this for each day

Use:

Spin the outer ring so that the arrow points at the desired day of the week
Tip the Pill Pod up so that the pills can fall out of the corresponding hole

Extra Info:

The outer ring has very little resistance and is easy to spin. This means that it doesn't ‘lock’ at each day and will spin freely. This is by design and is for the purpose of ease of use. Anyone that may have a disability affecting their grip or fine motor control should be able to use this organizer with no issues. This makes the Pill Pod perfect for home use where it won't rattled enough to spin on its own and dispense all of your pills into your bag…

I do have another version of this Pill Pod that I may release. That one does include stops/locks at each day of the week. This is not as easy to spin and would be suitable for taking out in a bag etc, but does stop it being as useful for people with disabilities due to some extra force needed to operate it.

Great model, thank you! Didn't have the new black filament properly calibrated, so ended up with a not-so-nice top finish, but oh well I've made 2 quick adaptions for myself: - Raised the labels to be able to print them with 2 colors without an AMS - Created a quick-and-dirty lock mechanism, as the original model lacks some kind of a holder in the "shut" state, and I wanted to throw it in the bag while traveling :) Anyway, loved the model: it is relatively small and does its job well

printed nicely but tolerances are to lose so everything spins extremely freely. the container need some type of tension on it to keep it from spinning on its own or you will loose your medications. Or some type of door/plug for the pill box to keep medication inside. thank you for sharing your pill pod and if make any improvements or fixes for the problems I see, I will definitely reprint it.
