3D model description

#Breadboard Holder with Print in Place Stand.

Version 2 Added

  • Made the legs much more bulky and added additional legs for support
  • Slightly changed the thickness to improve print quality
  • Increased length of legs to increase the angle the board sits up.
  • Updated the Fusion 360 file to: BreadBoardHolder-PrintInPlaceLeg_RELEASE_2.f3z

I strongly recommend using version 2 as the original legs were flimsy and would deform when printed with PLA.

Description:

I wanted a BB that had a stand to prop up the breadboard at an angle to make it easier to work with. Nothing in the existing models took my fancy so I made my own.

2 models were supplied, one that uses heat inserts and one for self-tapping screws.

Heat insert size should be M2.5 (max), OD 4.6 Length 4mm.

This BB holder can hold Arduino Mega's, Raspberry Pi4, and RP0(w). With additional adapters, it can hold many other types of PCBs such as teeny's, ESP etc.

See my other stuff for a universal adapter, as can be seen in the photos.

#Printing
Make sure your printer is dialed in before trying to print this or any print-in-place models. You need to ensure your e-steps and flow are set correctly. This model does not tolerate elephant foot, so ensure your first layer is dialed in correctly as well.

For proper calibration, check out TeachingTech's resources for straight forward easy-to-follow guides.
