Description

I really liked the idea that tiffi226 came up with by putting a mount on the door hinge of the Bambu Labs printers. Their design reduces glare significantly but I didn't like how you could still see some of the plastic housing when the camera is inside, plus it was a bit fiddly to put together. My CAD skills still aren't great to be able to sort it out so I went for a front facing camera instead.

The mount prints in two parts and you will need to glue them together. I used hot glue (a bit awkward as it dries fast but it worked) but you might be better using super glue instead. There is a channel for the power cable so you can route it out of the way of the door and to the left. Unscrew the two door hinge screws on the left, put the mount over the screw holes and screw it back in.

If you can, I'd recommend doing the LED strip mod to the printer so you can better see inside as when you turn on night vision mode on the camera it reflects off the glass still, but not necessary if you don't want to.
