Description

UPDATE: new version multicolor available https://makerworld.com/en/models/472191#profileId-381951

I used the cool model by CATIAV5FTW to make a clock. I remixed the fan and the cone to adapt the clock mechanism. The second hand is glued to the cone, so it sping with the clock.

assembly tips:

  1. the numbers fit in an specific blade, so first find the correct place to add the clock mechanism correctlt. Use the picture a reference.
  2. you may need to cut clock hands to fit insede the engine
  3. Glue the cone stripe and tip before glue to clock the second hand

For the mecanism i use this one from amazon:

https://www.amazon.es/dp/B0C4TMR43L?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

the model is design for these dimensions. Specially important the 22mm core.

Love it! The only thing I recommend is to mirror the whole fan so the spinner cone can spin the right way as the second hand turns.

Good point! Thanks for the feedback. I'm thinking to make a v2 with the multicolor fan you posted, it looks awesome, so i will take your advice into consideration.

Replying to @Herroc8 :
I would be delighted if they could also offer the spinner as a print. I would like to print it directly in 2 colors.
