Description

This is a solder fume extractor that I designed around a fan that I purchased at Walmart.  It is designed to attach to an articulating microphone arm that I had laying around.  It works fairly well and the fan has 3 speeds so it can be adjusted to suit your needs.  Most of the connections use heatset inserts.  The fan shroud uses M4 inserts for the carbon filter cover and M2 inserts for connection to the other parts.  All the other inserts are M2's.  Here are links to the fan and the arm.
