Description

Everfresh

Keep your car smelling great with this quick printing, modular car fragrance system!

  • Simple and durable design that is designed for easy refilling over and over
  • Easy 2 minute assembly
  • Sleek and seamless front face that allows for custom graphics
  • Multiple configurations to suit various use cases - pick the one that works best for you!

Instructions

For all configurations, you will need to select a lid from the lid profile. I have included a few designs, but feel free to use the blank one as a base, add your own SVG in Bambu Studio / Orca Slicer and paint the colors on. This can be done entirely in the slicer and no CAD software is required. Leave a comment or DM me if you need help.

Config 1 - Air vent

Use this configuration if you want to clip the diffuser on to your air vent. Fit the clip on the diffuser based on whether you have horizontal or vertical air vents.

2 clip designs are available:

  • PETG - this should be a relatively tight friction fit depending on your print tolerances. Use superglue if loose.
  • TPU - this part was designed to snap in and will stay in without any glue. A separate TPU profile has been included for this part only.

Config 2 - Rearview Mirror

Use this configuration if you want to hang the diffuser from your rearview mirror. May also be used for wardrobes and other small enclosed spaces. Choose from either the single or dual loop design (pictured).

Assembly

  • Fit the air vent clip or hanging loops depending on which configuration you choose
  • Cut some absorbent material to size. No need to be super precise - just make sure it fits. I personally trimmed down facial cotton pads and stacked 3 pieces in the diffuser. Avoid packing too tightly as this will impede airflow and reduce the amount of liquid that can be absorbed .
  • Add your preferred essential oil / reed diffuser / spritz some EDP/EDT. Do not oversaturate.
  • Slide the lid on. It should lock nicely into place.

Print using a heat resistant material such as PETG to avoid warping.

UPDATE - 20/4/24

Reworked The Great Wave graphic to be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle. Looks much better!

Find it HERE!

UPDATE - 19/4/24

Added a new print profile with a custom hueforge graphic of The Great Wave!

Added a new Thin Lid to the lid profile that is to be used with the hueforge graphic.

Print both, align and affix the hueforge to the thin lid with super glue.

The design looks very cool, however i would really like to see the inside and also the type of freshener it can hold to be able to decide if i can use this.

Here's a pic of the internals. Dimensions are 43x43x7mm. You can use any absorbent material you'd like and cut it to size, or even put coffee beans in.
