A simple rose that is easy to print. The Print uses about 8 grams of filament.
I have created a few different version to allow for different ways of producing a multi colour printing.
Rose Multiple Height
This model has the rose part higher than the stem. This allows first printing in green, then switching colours to another colour like red or pink. This is an easy print, but you will see the stem colour behind the rose color.
There is both a STL and 3mf file for this.
Rose Split Multiple Colour
This model uses Prusa Slicers cut feature to split the model in to two parts. You can print the stem and the flower separately in different colours.
A small piece of filament can be used as a dowel to connect the pieces. There is not a lot of space for the dowels, you will also need some super glue to hold the parts together.
This is only provided as a 3mf file as the cut was done in the slicer.
Rose Single Height
For this version the rose is all a single height. You can print it all one height, or if you have a multiple colour printer you can configure it to switch colours.
Print settings:
To avoid stringing, you can try the Avoid crossing perimeters options in prusa slicer. It should help for this model
Vector source
I first made this a few years back out of wood as a CNC project and have now adapted it for 3d printing. I don't recall where I got the vector for the rose from, but I didn't design it.
