Description

Cactus Pot with Basic Base and Bambulab LED Light Kit-001 fitted base.

NOTE: Note, this item is for display purposes only - Base is NOT to be considered water tight.

Cactus Pot -

BL PETG - Green + $1 Home Depot 6" trays to use as planter.

The supports on the pot aren't necessary for the design. But on the A1-Mini (bedslinger) they add some nice front to back support, so I leave them on.

There are holes in the bottom. I usually glue on a small piece of screen, a little gravel, potting soil, and a plant.

The Base.

VERSION 1 - Simple base without the light cutout. Decorative only, the base should not be considered water tight.

VERSION 2 - Base with cutout for Light kit and a cooling ring (add feet for cooling clearance).

LED Light Kit.

I find its best to take off the cover ring for better light output, and less heat build up.

This thing gets HOT when on and enclosed, thus the cooling ring and feet, non-skid advised.

Final Photos -

Glow in the Dark PLA makes it glow nicely with the light on. However, it doesn't absorb much light from the LED kit, so it only 'glows' a little after turning off the light.

Makes a decent cactus pot.

Thanks for checking it out,

HL
