Description

The only currency you need, now mounted on your wall!

What better way to show off your wasteland riches to your fellow vault dwellers than to hang it on the wall?

This giant bottle cap will not only get you the envy of even the ghouls; it also lights up your room as good as a mini nuke but with much less radiation (ballpark estimate due to lack of Geiger counter)!

The base fits the LED Lamp Kit 001 like well worn glove and comes with two free holes for mounting*. If you shy away from perforating your radioactive shelter fear not! You can just as wells tick it to the wall with some well chosen double-sided adhesive.

The cap itself boasts a proud ø85mm, putting other wastelanders' collections to shame. It slides snugly into the base for a firm yet comforting grip.

What are you waiting for? Print this post-apocalyptic collection piece today!

*Extra holes prints separately, no shipping fee and instant delivery!

Please leave a review if you print, I look forward to seeing your result!

That looks great. Perhaps I should make a larger version...

Super cool light! What can i change in my print profile to eliminate these lines on the side? Tried with supports, but same result.

Thanks, I'm happy you like it! I'm not able to do a test print right now, but It might help to lower the layer height or enabling variable layer height. Let me know how it works out!

That was to get the glow good. But I'm thinking of making a larger version if I can get the light good. Will have to re-think the design a bit though. Please note that the current design won't work to attach to the back part if resized (or the back part will be too big for the LED depending on if you resize it). You can use doublesided tape though.

maybe make one where the led is placed further away and the white is alot thinner when you upscale and it will glow great!!

what type of filament did you use for it to shine through?

Just regular Bambu Lab Basic PLA. I've made it 0.6 mm thick (white parts are 0.4) which lets the (for my preference) perfect amount of light through.
