Drowners inflicted with vampirism, Bed Leeches are considered anathema even by their own monstrous kind. Forever consumed by a thirst for blood and infested with a host of biting insects, Bed Leeches spend most of their time in a state of torpor, pouncing at any creature that wanders near their lair in the blink of an eye, desperate for their next meal.
The Drowners: Monstrous natives of the river Twain and tentative worshippers of the Faun, the Drowners love to ambush creatures passing near their territory, overwhelming them with superior numbers. Their bodies are covered in rubbery, hairless skin and are constantly moist and slippery, the layer of fat underneath hiding their powerful muscles.
A word to the wise: Drowners love the taste of Wise Caps and will do anything to eat one.
