Older, more vicious members of Drowner broods, Stranglers are sadists that love to watch the light leave a living creature's eyes. Specializing in waylaying other creatures, Stranglers are often employed by hags and other servants of the Faun to bring their enemies to them alive by any means necessary.
The Drowners: Monstrous natives of the Twain and tentative worshippers of the Faun, the Drowners love to ambush creatures passing near their territory, overwhelming them with superior numbers. Their bodies are covered in rubbery, hairless skin and are constantly moist and slippery, the layer of fat underneath hiding their powerful muscles.
A word to the wise: Drowners love the taste of Wise Caps and will do anything to eat one.
