Could you please explain how the sliding mechanism is assembled please? A few of us have asked the designer but no response to that request, I have tried every which way but the correct one, I am more confused now than when I started.
I printed my parts in PLA-CF with PETG interface layers for the supports and they are perfect!
Hi, I placed the connectors exactly as shown in picture 8 and have the lengths and heights. first check whether this is correct. After I was sure everything was in the right place, I glued it together. Don't forget the rubber band.
Standard Profile + Ironing, 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill
be wary that assembly is a pain. on tab for the barrel didn't fit so I had to cut it. other than that tho it's solid... don't bring it outside tho, it looks very real
I love it! However it needs refinement. I recommend printing by object not by layer. I’m going to have to do a little in post to fill the gaps but I’m still super impressed with it all. Currently printing the Silencer and it’s smooth. Keep it going!
It's pretty cool. For some reason can't get a good finish on the textured grip. Maybe it's not meant for a 0.4 nozzle. Also when racking the slide and releasing the 2 slide pieces open up a little bit in the back because they're not tightly held. Filament: Bambu PLA Basic black.
not very good at all, just a waste of filament, supports where there didn’t need any, the cocking mechanism has a hard time pulling back and doesn’t have any rubber band to pull it back into place, needs glue everywhere, everything doesn’t fit together especially because of the glue, could’ve been designed a lot better.
do you throw away the black rectangles that fit it together? it aligned everything and helps hold it together nicely. mine is fitting together nicely and I haven’t glued it yet.
